Tomato Crop-Booster Frame —unlike anything else on the market, increases the yield of tomato plants by properly supporting them. This option INCLUDES the frame AND the Cover : A cover for the Tomato Crop-Booster Frame that turns it into a mini greenhouse, ideal for protection from adverse weather and pests while ripening fruit and extending the growing season. Made from clear UV stabilised PVC with tough premium fabric reinforced edges with strong, durable, chunky zips for everyday use. Fully opening front can be rolled up (as shown) for easy access to plants, plus opening vents at each end with fine insect netting allow ventilation.
As tomato plants grow, traditional ties attached to canes can become tight and start to damage the plant stems and restrict growth. The Tomato Crop-Booster allows the stem to gently lean on the support and continue growing without constraint. The unique design means the support bars can be easily slid up as the plant grows or unclipped to make bigger movements. The support bars can be adjusted outwards as well as upwards as plants grow to allow more space for bushier plants. If a plant is properly supported it can produce more fruit leading to higher yields.
The frame also supports the bigger branches ensuring optimum growing conditions throughout the season and keeps both leaves and fruit off the ground where they would be vulnerable to pests and fungal infections.
This also comes with the Tenderbrace™ (patent pending) support system to support plants. Also includes easy-to-use ‘slide and clip’ design that can be altered by sliding – for small tweaks or unclipping – for larger moves, for example, to re-position around a stem.
It is simple for gardeners to use, and with the cover (sold separately) it offers a really cost effective mini greenhouse system suitable for use with pots, growbags or plants in the ground.
